Powder Coat Painting

The ability of SMC Metal Fabricators, Inc. to Powder Coat has provided our customers with the added service of a complete supplier of finished parts. We can fabricate the parts, powder coat, assemble, package, and ship.

The Powder Coating Line is a variable speed 850 foot conveyorized system that is very flexible to meet your needs. The part pre-treatment is completed in a five stage washer system that allows for proper adhesion and corrosion resistance. After pre-treatment and our drying ovens, the conveyor continues on to our separate climate controlled "clean" powder application room. The cycle is completed in our curing ovens and then on to our inspection and packaging area.

The Nordson Powder booth is manually operated to provide the most flexibility in material and color changes and quick reaction to scheduling parameters. We are able to provide our customers with a wide variety of stock powder colors and textures and have successfully matched colors per customer request.

Not only will SMC Metal Fabricators, Inc. powder coat production parts as part of a requirement, but we also do contract powder coating work on parts supplied to us.
